About Valencia
- I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio.
- I started college to pursue social work because I’ve always been passionate about helping people.
- I quickly realized that social work wasn’t the best fit for me, so I took some time off from school to live and try and figure out another path related to helping people.
- I eventually decided to give nursing a try and completed my first nursing degree at Cuyahoga Community College.
- After graduating, I went on to earn my bachelor’s degree in nursing from Loyola University New Orleans.
- I’ve since built my career as a registered nurse.
- I will soon graduate with my master’s degree and hope to move into leadership so that I can help the next generation of nurses.
