Welcome, I'm so happy to have you, Flagstaff Extreme Adventure course. Let's go do the demonstration course and then we'll get you out on the adventure course. Flagstaff Extreme, I help manage it. The vision has always been to be outside and we wanna help people be healthy and happy. And people think they have these limits and really you go so far above that. You have some hard lessons in life, but the one that I've taken to heart and I try every single day is to adapt. Like when I tore my Achilles, I couldn't walk for four months. Can you imagine me, not walking, I mean, just like you guys too. I mean, just imagine not walking for four months and you can't do this. You can't, I mean, for the first time in your life, you can't do this. And it's like, my gosh, so you got to adapt and just what you do is you crawl across the floor instead of walk [LAUGH]. It's weird but that's adapting, I mean, that's just taking it for what it is. 

If you love the outdoors, you're well on your way! You'll need to become CPR certified if you want to work at an adventure course. Additionally, show that you're outgoing and can interact positively with people.

I tore my achilles tendon and couldn't walk for four months. It was the first time I was told I can't do something. I just had to adapt. Take situations as they are and adapt. Instead of walking across the floor, I just had to crawl across the floor.
