About Rachel
- I grew up immersed in the outdoors.
- I earned my bachelor’s degree in parks and recreation from Northern Arizona University.
- I knew I wanted my work to involve the outdoors but I wasn’t quite sure what that meant.
- After graduating, I worked for City of Flagstaff Recreation Services, where I managed the city ice rink, ran the adult athletics program, and promoted Flagstaff in the tourism office.
- I joined the Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course when it opened in late 2011 and have been helping to manage the course ever since.
- In addition to my work with Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course, I also compete in endurance events—most recently, I won the Pass Mountain 50K Trail Run!
