About Don

• I grew up in Los Angeles, California.
• After high school, I moved to Arizona with my brother to help him open a sandwich shop.
• I eventually decided to try my hand at commercial real estate and found that I was pretty good at it—I used the money I made in real estate to buy guitars and recording equipment.
• I started writing songs and recruiting others to record with me as a hobby.
• My real estate office closed during the recession and rather than try another office, I decided to try and make a career out of songwriting.
• I employed the lead singer of a band I wrote music for and together we built up our recording studio.
• The studio became bigger and more popular over time—now, The Saltmine Studio Oasis is the biggest recording studio in Arizona!
