About Carole
- I like to think, talk, have meaningful conversations, and help people, so I decided that becoming a college professor would be a good fit for me.
- I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communications from Arizona State University.
- After starting my career in higher education, I went to Rio Salado College to gain some teacher training tools and boost my skills.
- I’ve spent my career teaching college and taking on leadership roles where I could help people, including jobs as an academic advisor, assistant director of education, and director of career services.
- In every job I’ve held, I took the initiative to do more than was asked of me, which has helped me gain the skills necessary to move forward in my career.
- I currently work as an academic advisor and communication adjunct faculty member for Maricopa Community Colleges.
- Additionally, I started my own personal and professional development business, Change Your Channel, through which I help people change their thoughts to live happier and healthier lives.
