David Rosenberg Highlight
As an entrepreneur, one of the best ways to start a company is looking for problems to solve.
About David
- I grew up in both the Bronx and Manhattan boroughs in New York.
- I’d frequently have conversations with my mother, a teacher in Manhattan, about doing social good and came to the conclusion that I wanted to solve problems through business.
- I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from Columbia University.
- I’ve spent my career utilizing my business skills to lead companies to solve major problems and do social good.
- While leading Hycrete, a nanotechnology company focused on waterproofing concrete, I realized that to solve the water problem, we need to solve agricultural problems.
- Inspired by that connection, I co-founded AeroFarms, a benefit corporation using innovations in vertical farming to change and improve our food system.
