About Eric
- I was born and raised in Pennsylvania.
- I met my comedy partner, Tim, in college while studying film at Temple University.
- Tim and I both interned as production assistants in Los Angeles and were discouraged by how difficult it seemed to climb the ladder and make it as directors, so we came back home.
- After college, we picked up odd jobs while making short comedy videos on the side just to make each other laugh—Tim ended up sending the videos to some of the industry leaders and they took notice.
- One of our short films, “Tom Goes to the Mayor,” caught Adult Swim’s attention and they commissioned us to create a pilot episode for the network, so we quit our jobs and moved to Los Angeles for it.
- The show was picked up and we were able to create, write, and star in “Tom Goes to the Mayor” on Adult Swim for 30 episodes over two years.
- After “Tom Goes to the Mayor,” we created a sketch comedy show called “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!” which premiered on Adult Swim in 2007.
