About Tim
- I was born and raised in Pennsylvania.
- I met my comedy partner, Eric, in college while studying film at Temple University.
- Eric and I took internships in Los Angeles as production assistants, but came back home discouraged by how difficult it seemed to climb your way up into becoming a director.
- We started making short comedy videos just to make ourselves and our friends laugh—I sent the videos to a few of my idols and we started getting some attention.
- Our short film “Tom Goes to the Mayor” caught the attention of Adult Swim, who then commissioned us to create a pilot episode for the network—we quit our jobs and moved to Los Angeles to work on it.
- The show was picked up, and we were able to create, write, and star in “Tom Goes to the Mayor” on Adult Swim for 30 episodes over two years.
- After that, we created a sketch comedy show called “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!” which also airs on Adult Swim.
