Balance doesn’t mean you have it all figured out. The whole concept of balance involves having to constantly move and adjust. You’re going to have smooth days and days where you fall on your face. That’s OK as long as you get back up.
About Erin
- I developed an interest in business and law fairly early in my life, so my parents actively sought to introduce me to lawyers within our community so that I could learn from them.
- Attended Butler University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Decided to go to law school at Georgetown University, where I earned my J.D.
- After graduating, I got a job as a law clerk at Barnes & Thornburg, where I assisted in investigations put before the United States International Trade Commission and the Department of Commerce.
- In 2001, I became an attorney for the same firm—I represented and counseled clients in commercial, intellectual property, and antitrust litigation.
- After eight years at Barnes & Thornburg, I decided that it wasn’t the path I wanted to be on anymore, so I took a job as corporate counsel for Wabash National Corporation.
- I ended up working there for over 10 years, serving as their senior vice president – general counsel & secretary.
- I wanted to make even more of a difference in the community, so I took an opportunity to join the general counsel team at Strada Education Network and use my skills to impact education.
