About Ted
- Grew up in the Township of Middletown in New Jersey.
- His uncle was a civil engineer and a land surveyor—he started working for him when he was a teenager and learned the family business.
- Followed in the footsteps of his father and brother and attended St. Peter’s College where he began studying business.
- He quickly realized that his passion was in engineering, so he transferred to Old Dominion University where he graduated with his degree in civil engineering and construction technology.
- Started out working in the private sector—Project Engineer for Bay Pointe Engineering, the Director of Municipal Services for Najarian Associates, and the General Manager of Charles Widdis Assc.
- During the economic and housing crisis of 2008, he made the decision to transition into the public sector in order to have more job security.
- Took a position working in his hometown of Middletown, NJ as the Director of Public Works for the whole township to manage and supervise all engineering & public works projects.
- He has also begun pursuing his master’s degree in land surveying from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and is a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
