About Scott
- Grew up outside of Minneapolis, MN.
- As a sophomore in high school, he started getting involved in theater by building scenery and helping with the lighting and audio for various productions.
- Attended the University of Minnesota in Duluth, where he received his degree in theater with a technical emphasis on lighting and sound.
- Says his professional career began while he was still in college, where he worked with a lot of community theaters and events.
- He got the opportunity to work as the Assistant Manager of the Weber Music Hall on the University of Minnesota campus, where he worked on a variety of musicals and concerts.
- He also worked for summer stock theaters all across the country for two to three months every year when he wasn’t in school.
- After graduating, he landed a job working as an assistant on audio for the national tour of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific.
- Shortly after, he began working on the audio for the Blue Man Group’s National Tour—he is now the Head of Audio for their residency show in Las Vegas at the Luxor Hotel & Casino.
