One of the greatest ways to achieve happiness is to give. The more you give, the more you’ll get. That’s how you create a legacy and live a life well loved.

About Liz

  • I grew up on a farm in Charlottesville, Virginia—my father was a famous surgeon and burn specialist who taught me a lot about skin rejuvenation and wound repair.
  • I attended Old Dominion University (ODU) where I received my degree in counseling psychology; worked multiple jobs in order to pay my way through.
  • My first job out of college was with the American Heart Association—around this time, my father was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, which led to my family suffering some financial difficulties.
  • In order to help my family through this, I studied to become a stockbroker and discovered that I loved helping people achieve financial security.
  • I got tired of the weather in Virginia, so I moved to Los Angeles and worked as a broker and venture capitalist investing in businesses.
  • I found out one of the founders of a diet company I had invested in was embezzling money, so in order to protect my investment, I bought out the company and decided to run it myself.
  • Recruited my sister to help run the company with me—we later started another company, Radical Skincare, where we formulate powerful anti-aging products for all skin types.
  • My sister and I have also written a book, Get Radical: Secrets to Creating a Life You Love, and are in the process of launching a new company that’s like the Uber or Airbnb of skincare.
