About Christine
- I grew up in a family with fostered and adopted kids. As a kid, I was always a bit of a performer.
- I took broadcast journalism in high school—for me, that’s really where it all started.
- I was offered a few scholarships to ASU and that sealed the deal: I knew I wanted to be a Sun Devil.
- While studying at the journalism school, I was encouraged to take a variety of internships.
- I found a passion for broadcasting and focused on that; by the time I graduated, I had a job offer.
- I’ve been in the business for over 30 years now; in that time, I’ve lucky enough to win 16 Emmys.
- In my free time, I’ve taken up mentoring and have been working with young adults in the area.
