When you think of single mom, you just think of struggle. &gt;&gt; Going through my 20s, being a single mom, so many people made me feel bad about it. &gt;&gt; I've been on repeat. Make money, pay the bills, take care of the kid. It's really easy to put personal growth on hold. [MUSIC] So, I am about to take a road trip with two other single moms. &gt;&gt; Road trip nation, here I am. &gt;&gt; And we're gonna interview successful professionals. &gt;&gt; Strong single moms that have faced the same obstacles. &gt;&gt; I'm hoping to leave all the self doubt. &gt;&gt; Being a single mom, there's pressure when it comes to your decisions, like what if I make the wrong one. &gt;&gt; You're doing great. You only have two hours and 49 minutes [LAUGH]. I'm feeling a little lost, and maybe I'll find an answer, or a door to go through on this road trip. &gt;&gt; The most important decisions you're gonna make in your life, the ones with risk, the ones which fear, are the most important to lean into. Because it allows you to expand as a human. &gt;&gt; Is there any words of wisdom for other single moms working towards their path? &gt;&gt; More than anything, I think it's just about figuring out your purpose. And I think, once you can see how your purpose can make impact something outside of yourself, then you're on the right path. &gt;&gt; I want my kids to see that, I took this time away because mommy is become a better mom. &gt;&gt; We absolutely have the power to change anything that we don't like about our life. It's just a matter of being willing to believe that you can. &gt;&gt; You have to really think about what you're calling into your life. And be clear when you're trying to manifest the path for it. &gt;&gt; Single moms, we are resilient. And I am so proud to be a part of that community. I'm so proud to have that label. &gt;&gt; This is helping me come out of my box more, and show my kids that it's important to try new things. I don't know who said, do one thing every day that scares you. And I was like, okay, this is gonna be it. &gt;&gt; I'm gonna remember these connections forever. &gt;&gt; I'm just excited for everything coming up. &gt;&gt; I'm just ready to be my kids number one fan. I'm ready to be my own number one fan. I'm ready for the world. [MUSIC]
