Biology and Biotechnology Laboratory Technology

We humans have always been intrigued by the variety of living things that surround us. Biologists seek to satisfy that curiosity by studying the creatures with which we share our planet. Some biologists, biotechnologists, look at organisms, their biochemistry, and their genes in order to create commercial products. 

If you major in laboratory technology, you won’t become a biologist, but you will be trained to assist one. Who knows? You could be part of a team that develops a new drought-resistant seed or discovers a new miracle drug.
