My path in life has been direct
1.
I started as a security guard at the library, not knowing libraries even needed security.
2.
A librarian noticed how I interacted with patrons and encouraged me to apply for a job—I hesitated at first, unsure if working in a library was for me.
3.
I took a chance, got hired, and had to complete a 14-week LATI certification course.
4.
At first, I felt intimidated working alongside experienced librarians but over time I found my niche helping people through workforce development programs.
5.
Now, I run the Life Lab, where I assist people with job searches, resumes, and career growth.
