Milestones
My road in life has been direct.
She was brought up in a rural farm community in New Zealand.
Spent most of her time outdoors, riding motorbikes and helping to raise the farm's animals.
At age six, she discovered her passion for horses and convinced her parents to let her go to riding school.
This was the jumping-off point for her numerous horse-related hobbies, including showing, show jumping, and even breeding.
When she wasn't riding, she was working in the stables and learning everything she could about different horses.
For a while, she tried her hand at more "conventional" jobs-she drove commercial trucks, she sold real estate.
But she knew that the most fulfilling moments in her life came when she was working with horses.
She started Starlight Farm, where she breeds horses for clients and teaches riding lessons.
