You'll never amount to anything.
How I responded:
People would tell me I'd never amount to anything because in elementary and middle school, I had a very difficult time reading. I let that be my driving force to prove them wrong and watch me succeed. I received a master's degree in elementary education so I could help others who feel that way too.
