Milestones

My road in life has taken me all over.
My first job did not pay much, but it allowed me to demonstrate my skills in public relations, photography, and taking initiative.
Left first job to take a job with a nationally-known company one hour from my home to build my resume.
Took a marketing job in Chicago because I wanted to work in the city.
Hated the city job, took a job as an industrial consultant.
Loved consulting job, but tired of the constant travel around the nation to help manufacturing companies. Wanted to find a job in Chicago.
Found a great job doing public relations and marketing for a major manufacturing company headquartered in Chicago.
Got laid off, started my own public relations and marketing company and had great clients.
Made many great contacts as a consultant, finally hired to a full-time position by a client.
