How I responded:
I utilized my own lived experiences and the experiences of some around me to push forward. When people still had a hard time accepting the issue I ensured that I extensively researched the issue to give the statistics and needed information to help the general public understand why we needed to continue fighting against and using prevention education to keep our communities safe.
