Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Friends:
Accounting is so boring! Have fun sitting in a cubicle punching numbers all day...
How I responded:
Jokes on them, I've met some of my best friends through my internships, engagement teams, and firm gatherings. These friendships I will have forever. In my time at the firm, I have yet to sit in a cubicle. I've always sat in large audit rooms or in open plan office spaces. I've never been stuck on a calculator all day and I haven't stopped learning or advancing my career.
