As someone who grew up in a small town, you will never make it at the Big 4.
How I responded:
I let the social stereotype that somehow my background put me at a disadvantage be my motivation to work hard and hold myself to a high standard. Eventually, I realized that the experiences I had growing up helped to shape some of my greatest strengths.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
I worked full time in college while balancing a full time course load. Growing up surrounded by the auto industry, constantly observing lay-offs and plant closures, taught me the value of a college degree and the need to be financially independent.
