Milestones
My road in life took a while to figure out.
Born and raised in South Africa during the apartheid era, so I was lucky enough to be alive to remember the freedom that comes with democracy.
Attended school and university in South Africa and definitely took the scenic route through university (IYKYK).
Started working for PwC in South Africa. I audited a wide variety of clients from big pharmaceutical clients to casino gaming floors.
Passed Qualifying Exam 1 and 2 first time around, which was a good thing because I had promised myself that I wouldn't repeat it if I didn't make it the first time around (it's a stressful program).
Came to the PwC New York office on secondment as a senior associate for what was suppose to be a 6-month secondment and the rest, as they say, is history.
