I am lucky to have a variety of jobs. From an auditor perspective, my daily work includes meeting with clients and my teams, planning and executing annual audits and audits of internal control over financial reporting for my public companies, and reviewing audit working papers. From a managing partner perspective, I meeting with executives of clients and targets in the community. In my recruiting role, I meet with students and faculty throughout the year.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for college students

Talk to students who have just recently entered into the profession. They provide the most recent experience and were in your shoes just a year or two before. They tend to provide honesty and openness about what they learned and what they might have done differently as they started pursuing their career.
