Milestones

My road in life took a while to figure out.
I was weak with studies as a kid but I never gave up on my studies.
With time I became better and by the time I graduated high school I topped my class with a banner of my name outside the school.
College was another game all together. I got a bit over confident while preparing for my Chartered Accountancy.
I didn't clear my Chartered Accountancy exams in the first go and it took my self confidence away.
Failure was the best thing that happened to me as it made me more patient in life and made me a lot more humble.
This also gave me the time to explore my interest in technology.
Finally with great efforts I cleared my Chartered accountancy exams, got a job with EY but honestly I was not much good with my work.
I attended a training on Data Analytics almost 3 years back and it opened up my mind to an all new world. After that there has been no looking back.
Keep following my journey

Day to Day

A typical day as an auditor is hectic. You have to mange your client timelines, make sure your team gets new and varied nature of work, and above all do this all in a budget. Being a digital auditor you have to play around a lot with data. You do not really test a few samples and get done with your work but look at the data / company as a whole to see if everything is as it's supposed to be.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for college students

I would say one should try and do an internship to understand how do you really like the work and to be sure it's your cup of tea. There are many good people around who can help you understand better the work that we guys do on a daily basis.

The Noise I Shed

From Society in General:

"I was a bit geeky in general and was not really like your average Joe in my approach towards life. I have been called under performer someone who needs improvement (a polite way of saying you aren't up to the mark) at various places by various people"
