Large student debt- made post grad school hard due to large bills. Just be careful on what you take out.

Moved to A new state for grad school to try something new- best choice I ever made!

Said yes to ever opportunity I could get my hands on- each step led me closer to where I am today.

Networked like it was my job!

Moved from state to state based on what I wanted and where I wanted to end up. I set a goal and I slowly worked towards it.

Work with video gaming clients to put together a media plan and recommendation that fits their goals and kpis. I negotiate and work with vendors to fit media into the overall budget that I feel best provides the exposure and awareness for the campaign. My work varies from buying social media, running OOH, and working with influencers.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for high school students

You don’t need a masters to get an advertising gig. I got mine as a personal choice. If you want to get into advertising, study it in undergrad / network / use connections. Even if you don’t land the right role at first, many companies are happy to move good employees around to new roles. Don’t be afraid to work with a recruiter if it can open doors for you.
