Milestones

My road in life has taken me all over.
Since my childhood, my dream was to be a flight captain (pilot).
In middle school, I received training in construction.
I graduated from middle school in business and I was trained to be a constructor. Very STRANGE situation.
My early years in high school were really bad. Almost failed. But my senior year was exceptional. I am the only candidate admitted to the final exam. Another STRANGE situation.
I started working at the Airline company at the age of 20 and was enrolled at the University. Did this for 3 years and had to stop for a few years to focus on my job.
In 1998, I started my bachelor degree. I graduated in 2000 and I was the major of the Class.
20 years after my dream it didn't come true yet. I went to a Pilot school but never been a Pilot. Choose to go to my own. Created my first company in training and business center. A huge reconversion.
2009, moved to the USA to find a new opportunity. To become a Pilot of my own business. I currently own a Landscaping and Construction Company. I live with my 1 wife and 4 kids. We are very happy.

Day to Day

Well, after high school I have to find a job to finance my universities study. I applied at the 4 most big company in Madagascar (3 Banks and 1 airline company). 2 Banks called me for an interview. Passed the interview but had to pass writing test. Before the writing test the airline company called me for a writing test. I passed the test (I was among the 600 people admitted to pass the interview of the 3000 candidates). Went to an interview process and selected among the 26 to be trained.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for everyone

Have a basic training first, Choose the specialty that you like the most, train for it. Sell yourself, find a job that fits into your dream and shows that you are the right person needed for that job. When you accumulated years of experience in the area and gathered some money, you can start to do your own business. But, be patient. You may lose some money in the beginning but later you will get a reward. Get advice to the senior and experienced people.
