Day to Day

I start the day tutoring kids before school. Then we spend the day teaching 4 periods straight. After 4th period I have lunch, which is filled with kids needing tutoring again. After lunch/tutoring we have 2 more periods and then a class period for meeting with teachers. The last period is my planning period so I use it to prep for the next day. Our school day ends at 3:55 but I stay until 5:15 to tutor students again. Then on the way home and way into the night I answer texts from students.

Skills & Qualities Beyond School

People skills are a big thing, I believe, when teaching. You have to have a good rapport with students and other faculty and admin. I believe this just comes with experience!

"You aren't really THAT good at Math, why don't you try something else. Don't you want to do something that will earn more money and more appreciation? "
