Day to Day

I work from home, so I often will look at what I need to do for the day and schedule around that. For example, I have a lot of clients in different timezones or in other countries. Then I will make a list of what I need to accomplish that day. I spend time on phone calls, brainstorming, or working on my computer (with lots of breaks! they are important).

Skills & Qualities Beyond School

I have spent a lot of time training and learning new technologies on my own time. Books are great but courses are often what's necessary to get ahead.

Recommended Education

My career is related to what I studied. I'd recommend the path I took:

The Noise I Shed

From Teachers:

"I had people tell me to maybe consider other pays, that my work wasn't good enough or that I was too far behind. Or I had older people tell me my career was a trend and not going to be around forever."

The most important thing is the truth. Your truth. Nothing else matters except what you genuinely feel like doing and what makes you happy.

Challenges I Overcame

Financial
Financial

My parents did not have much money to give to me after highschool. I had to make sure I prioritized saving and working over fun things like trips or hanging out with friends. It's an investment for freedom later.
