Defining Moments

How I responded to discouragement

  • THE NOISE

You should quit going to school and just get a job to take care of your children.

  • How I responded:

The time and money invested in finishing college is far more valuable than just a job alone. Being able to not just tell but show my children finishing an education is worth the sacrifice made it even more priceless.
