I've taken a lot of twists and turns
1.
Entered the Alamo Colleges (SAC)
2.
Worked full-time and went to school full-time...it was A LOT! I did that from my freshmen thru junior year.
3.
I had to quit my senior year of college, because I just couldn't afford it anymore, and my parents refused to let me get student loans.
4.
Life happened...
5.
Almost 20 years after graduating high school, I went back to school to finish my undergrad.
6.
I started teaching.
7.
Went back to get my Masters of Education!!!

Experiences and challenges that shaped me
Being a first-generation college graduate, there was no one in my family who could relate to what I was going through. Words of wisdom would be to find someone who has been through it already, and ask for advice!
