Your degree is too general, it won't lead to a job after graduation.
How I responded:
I remained focused on my larger objective of obtaining a degree, as opposed to focusing on what the degree/major was in. More importantly, I knew that studying human development; understanding who people were and how their life's journey shaped them, was knowledge that I could apply to any field or industry I chose to work in during my career. These were some of the primary learning objectives in my coursework and have continued to provide a foundation in my helping relationships.
