Helping People

Day to Day

Make sure the staff is in place and that they have all they need for a successful day. Check mail and emails and respond accordingly. Handle bookkeeping, banking and send out statements. Be supportive of the boss in all his endeavors.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for everyone

Don't expect to have it all when you start as so many gen X do. Work at a place with the capacity to move up the ladder and under someone willing to teach you. Then learn ALL they can teach you. Be humble and be willing to do anything required - from the dirtiest to the highest jobs. They will notice!
