Defining Moments

How I responded to discouragement

  • THE NOISE

    Messages from Parents:

College is too expensive. You need to focus on a vocation not a general business degree.

  • How I responded:

Getting your college degree is well worth it. You gain additional life skills, exposure to new ideas and new cultures. Take your time if you need to budget and save for school. Do not get discouraged. Keep plugging away!
