Milestones

My road in life took a while to figure out.
First I wanted to be a lawyer, but I didn't want to spend another 3-4 years in law school.
Next, I wanted to be a computer programmer, but my head hurt everyday in class.
I took my first Accounting class shortly thereafter and fell in love and changed my major.
My internship at State Farm really boosted my confidence during our Toastmasters sessions.
Made the decision to move to Illinois and California knowing no one.
Six years ago, I changed my career from Accounting / Finance to HR and never looked back!
