Life & Career Milestones

My path in life took a while to figure out

  • 1.

Had a vision and never gave up

  • 2.

realized I was important to society through what i had to offer the world

Defining Moments

How I responded to discouragement

  • THE NOISE

    Messages from Society in general:

I was crazy and that I could never achieve my goal. To them, my vision was impossible because I come from a small town, and not everyone lives their dream.

  • How I responded:

Never take no for an answer. Remove all negative people from you life (family + friends). You have to learn how to trust your instincts and keep your inner circle small. Good vibes only.

Experiences and challenges that shaped me

  • I funded everything on my own, with no govt. or corporate sponsor support. I don't wait for anyone to hand me anything. I sacrificed numerous hours at my 9-5 to make sure the kids had the best experience (merchandise, choreographers, venue, etc.).

  • I am a black man, trying to go into an industry where it is white-dominated. With Janet Jackson being a black woman and blacklisted (Superbowl incident), it made getting my dream 10X harder to reach. I overcame it by realizing my worth.
