Defining Moments

How I responded to discouragement

  • THE NOISE

    Messages from Society in general:

    Social workers don't make money.

  • How I responded:

Social work is a helping profession. I believe that it is a calling on my life to impact social change. I believe God is very particular about who He allows to work with His children. I am pleased to be one of the chosen. I absolutely love every opportunity to be caring, compassionate, and considerate. When I teach on the collegiate level my goal is to share and transfer my knowledge and skills to others who embark upon this journey of human services.
