My path in life took a while to figure out
1.
Desired to be a faith-based marriage and family counselor.
2.
Managed a Vehicle Graphics business with my creative husband for over 10 years, which was great fun!
3.
Received the Presidents' Scholarship and completed my AA at Paradise Valley Community College.
4.
Completed my Psychology degree, desiring to work with high school or college aged students.
5.
Got married, started a family, and became an at-home mom, working part time at her school.
6.
Fell in love with Philosophy and an entry level job at Barrett West, continuing my education.

How I responded:
I trusted myself, my doubts, and my mentors and opened myself up to a world of perspectives that changed my life. I feel like I now have a deeper, more meaningful spirituality and a voice to help others who have a similar religious background.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
I grew up without health insurance and we struggled financially. If it were not for a scholarship, I would not have gone to college at all. Later, financial aid and minimal student loans helped me get my degree and a job with outstanding benefits.
