I lead a team of recruiters, who hire the best and brightest people we can find!
Every day is different, which I love! During an average week, I'll have individual and team meetings with my employees and our business partners. Meeting agendas may include internal and external methods to create talent pipeline, tracking our metrics towards our yearly goals, and helping to develop my employees' leadership capability. We have multiple customers and demands, which we must prioritize on a regular basis, to make sure both our team and the business are successful.
Here's the first step for college students
I would recommend students get exposed to talent acquisition and HR through business classes and applying this knowledge through summer internships.
