My path in life took a while to figure out
1.
Won writing awards in high school.
2.
Participated in a LOT of extracurricular high school and college activities to determine field.
3.
Had a variety of internships in college and pushed self to try different journalism-related jobs.
4.
Studied and interned overseas to experience something very different.
5.
Changed positions several times and moved cross-country two times with my second job.
6.
Left second job after thirteen years to learn something new and have since worked for two different companies.

Experiences and challenges that shaped me
At my first corporate job, I was extremely young compared to rest of work force and was questioned why the company hired me. I had to prove that I could do the job. Over time, your skills will show your worth.
