Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
You will not be anything in life other than have children and live off the government.
How I responded:
I was determined to do better and teach my children never to listen to what people say and follow your dreams. You choose your own destiny.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
Always take a negative in your life and turn it into a positive.
I experienced family members whom abused drugs and did not allow that to be my destiny.
