My path in life has been direct
1.
Fell in love with computers at a very early age.
2.
Learned to code in C and Python in high school.
3.
Got a scholarship for an excellent college where I studied computer engineering.
4.
Studied very hard and got an internship at Microsoft.
5.
After 2 internships I decided to accept a full-time offer at Microsoft once I graduated.
6.
Worked in Windows for 18 months.
7.
Decided I wanted to do more UI work and switched to PowerApps.

Messages from Society in general:
Coding is too hard, you need to know a lot of math and it's confusing.
How I responded:
Writing code is super fun! It can be challenging but you can accomplish amazing things. Unless you're doing number-heavy stuff like graphics or scientific computing you don't really need much math knowledge.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
I'm from Colombia and went to Mexico for college and then to the US to work. It was a bit scary moving to a country I had never been to all by myself, but I've since made so many friends! I love where I am now.
