I work with other amazing and skilled developers to write software. We write applications, web sites, and web services. We challenge and learn from each other. On a daily basis I use Visual Studio for coding with, and primarily use C# and web languages and web frameworks.
Advice for Getting Started
Here's the first step for high school students
It's important for high school students, especially upper class students (juniors / seniors), to really engage in their coursework around science and technology. But it's even more important to step outside of what you're normally learning in school, and develop a passion for development on their own free time.
