Milestones

My road in life took a while to figure out.
I was a Marine for seven years.
After I got out of the military, my "plan A" was to pursue law enforcement.
Once I got to know what it was actually about, I didn't really enjoy law enforcement.
I had taken up barbering in the Marines, so I decided to pursue that instead.
I put myself through barbering school and got my license.

I'm your traditional, old-school barber: you step foot into my shop and I take you back in time.

Day to Day

My girlfriend says that when you walk into my barbershop, it's like being at a "Chuck E. Cheese for adults." It's just a bunch of us guys, hanging out and talking; for me, it feels like being back in the military because it has that sort of brotherly feeling to it.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for college students

In order to do my job, you do have to go through that barbering course and get your license, but more importantly, you have to know that the education never stops. Try to get into a shop that's interesting or that will let you be creative, and then keep up your education through things like YouTube videos.
