Day to Day

I greet youth as they enter; I chat with them; laugh, engage them with interests, topics of the day or by listening to hear what they want to talk about. I provide answers to questions I know; feedback; or direction to where they can find the answers. I make sure that the time they spend with me is memorable, something well learned or taught, engaging; learning something new about them so that they leave hopeful and with great expectations for themselves, their future, and the next day!

Skills & Qualities Beyond School

Transparency, a giving spirit, an attentive ear, compassion, humor, honesty, trust, motivation; the ability to transform lives without a desire to fix or change someone, but a desire and open-mind to transform their day daily with great expectation that change is inevitable.

Here's the first step for college students

I believe that college is crucial to any career or even for those that may have transitioned or will transition in their career. The reason being is because college provides a foundation that high school alone can't. College provides cultural and hands-on experiences, and life skills that will train and prepare you emotionally, physically, and culturally for the challenges,
