Helping People
Day to Day
Seeing all my kids that I work with thrive in their classrooms. I love hearing the kids talk about what they got accomplished and what they learned from their time with me. I spend my day going around to different classrooms and picking up the children that are on my list. We work on their reading, spelling, and math skills.
Advice for Getting Started
Here's the first step for middle school students
For them to know what all the classes they can take in high school that will make it a little easier in college. Also get a feel for what they like doing. Everyone focuses on high school kids but for me I think it all begins with middle school because that's where the youth gets lost. By high school if they are struggling it is very hard for them to keep track in high school.
