My path in life took a while to figure out
1.
Had passion for applied maths and communication and got a degree in Marketing and Comunication.
2.
Had a few jobs in the business sector but felt bored and unfulfilled.
3.
Started an educational NGO, got back to school and got a masters degree in Career Consulting.
4.
Implemented in schools a program where children learn to tell stories and published research.
5.
Coached teachers and school counselors in storytelling, character development and communication.
6.
Conducted career counseling workshops for students and young professionals.

You should work for somebody else. Only people who cheat and are connected with some clique are successful on their own.
How I responded:
I told myself if people would see our work, they would recognize it was good. We started to build connections and doing things pro bono to show our work. After a while we started to receive offers to be part of counseling projects and getting paid.
