Milestones

My road in life has taken me all over.
First I spent years working in office environments. I never liked it.
Then I stopped worrying about what I was supposed to do and did what I wanted to do.
I made the decision to take time off of working for other people and I worked for my family.
I stayed home and raised my kids because it was what I most wanted to do.
I never intended to go back to work because it didn't appeal to me.
Then, quite by accident, I found I could work from home.
I discovered I LOVED it! For me, it makes all the difference not to have to go into the office.
Then I lived happily ever after.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for college students

The most important first step for a college student looking to pursue my occupation would be to decide whether or not they can work alone. Not everyone can or wants to do that. Can you figure things out without having to ask someone? Are you OK taking instruction via email or other written source alone? If you answered yes, my job is an awesome and very rare opportunity to avoid meetings, commuting, and work disruption.
