I help assist the dentist and work one on one with patients.
A great day is a day where you helped a child get over their fear at the dentist and just knowing you accomplish your job in a way of having fun and being fearless. There's no better feeling than that. Also improving on my hand on skills.
I was in a 10 month program of hands on and classroom training. Fabricating temporary crowns, polishing teeth and X-rays and many more duties. Also assisting chairside with the dentist. At the end you go off to a 6 week internship in the office setting.
