High volume recruiting is a fast-paced, ever changing role where no two days look the same. We work very hard to attract the best candidates and provide them with a positive experience throughout their entire interview process. At the core of my role there are the main functions of communicating with candidates and hiring managers in order to coordinate interviews, but there are always new roadblocks to solve for and additional areas to help out in.
Advice for Getting Started
Here's the first step for college students
Take as many communication courses as you can - especially those centered around communication through technology. Understanding how to effectively utilize technology to communicate across all levels of an organization through various means will greatly increase your sphere of influence and allow you to represent yourself in a professional and respectable manner.
