My road in life took a while to figure out.
When I was a teller, my assistant manager took me under her wing and let me shadow what she did.
I let myself take risks and make mistakes. It made me stronger when I learned my lesson.
I changed my major from Dance & Theater to Business Management. I gained focus.

Day to Day

I start my day setting clear expectations for the employees in my branch. I keep them focused on adding value to each of our clients lives throughout the day. I review sales numbers and create a strategy to meet goals. I ensure that each person on the team knows what we need to do to be successful. I coach the employees throughout the day and make sure to celebrate any success we achieve, big or small.

Here's the first step for high school students

It is important to take business classes in High School. If the school offers electives in economics, finance or technology you should take them. You will be ahead of the curve when it comes to taking your first business class in college.
